˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ Changes to my study program ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

This is my third year at the Faculty of Communication and Image at the University of Chile. And I still have many doubts about my vocation or if I like this place. When I entered the university I did not know that the study program of the career shared classes with film and television. As for the curriculum, it was a bit strange at first. I think the classes we share with the cinema are the most difficult and also the most unnecessary, These classes mainly deal with very old communication theories and research and their current development, but these classes do not fully exercise our journalistic skills.

Over the years the academic load has also become more and more complicated, my biggest worries are at the end of the semester, I fear having to take final exams

Currently the race requires all our skills, writing, voice management, computing and the ability to take good photos! many of our classes require fast computers that allow us to produce multimedia content, video and audio editing. It is essential in our learning, but the computers and cameras in the faculty do not always meet our needs. I really hope that we can have better equipment.

Our faculty is not the best, but I don't know too many to make a real comparison either. A good thing is that you usually find toilet paper in a university bathroom and soap, which is very important, although it may be the minimum.

  1. No doubt FCEI needs to buy new cameras and computers.

  4. I can relate to what you say about not knowing if journalism is your true vocation but I like to think that it is all part of a process and that it is not necessary to dedicate the rest of your life to what you studied, since out there are thousands of other opportunities. I really hope you enjoy the process <3
